FEELING ALONE CAN BE OVERWHELMING, BUT REMEMBER, YOU’RE NOT DESTINED TO WALK THIS JOURNEY ALONE.

MEET NEW PEOPLE IN SMALL GROUPS.

In today's society, many battle loneliness, even within the church. But faith was never meant to be a solo endeavor. Jesus demonstrated that faith flourishes in the context of community. We grow stronger when we come together—learning from one another, offering encouragement, and building our faith side by side. At Impact Church, small groups are the ideal way to form meaningful connections and remain closely linked with fellow believers.

After experiencing heartbreak, betrayal and seemingly losing it all, Pastor Riva Tims (now Dr Riva Watkins) was able to draw closer to God and come out with a greater understanding of His plan and purpose for her life. She learned that the defining moments in life are often those that deeply challenge us and test our faith. What the enemy would try to use to crush us, God will use to build us into who we were always meant to be. Things may have fallen apart but if we put our trust in God and leave it there, God will take the broken pieces of our lives and bring everything together for our good.

In a world filled with competing voices, shifting culture, and countless opinions about Jesus, how do we know we’re following the real One? Fake Christian / Fake Jesus is a six-week journey that challenges us to recognize deception, stand firm in God’s Word, and examine whether our lives truly reflect the Jesus we say we follow. Together, we’ll uncover the knock-off versions of Jesus shaped by our expectations, desires, culture, and influences while rediscovering the real Jesus revealed in Scripture. It’s time to become expert authenticators—knowing the difference between what’s fake and what’s real and allowing the real Jesus to transform how we live.

This 6-week senior small group study explores how to age with faith, health, and spiritual wholeness. Through Scripture and discussion, participants are encouraged to see aging as a blessing, care for their bodies as God’s temple, trust God through health and emotional challenges, and develop daily rhythms that support wellness. The group focuses on finding purpose, peace, and hope in every season of life while strengthening faith and supporting one another in community.
