Overcoming the Three

In Acts 4, Peter and John were arrested by the Sanhedrin and Roman court for proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus in a time of upheaval after Christ's death. The authorities sought to prevent the spread of Christianity, but Peter and John refused to be intimidated by their threats. In this sermon, we discuss how having faith in God is the antidote to fear, intimidation, and doubt. Despite being faced with opposition from hostile leaders, Peter and John remained true to their beliefs and kept moving forward toward Kingdom success and influence. As believers in Christ, we too can be encouraged that our faith gives us strength in difficult times.
