Hello Impact Family,
This is still the day the Lord has made, and we will still rejoice and be glad in it. These past few weeks have been among the most challenging in our lifetimes, and yet, even in the midst of this storm, it’s encouraging to know that we have pulled together as one church, with many houses—with prayer as our daily rally point!
Every week our online audience is growing. Salvations are happening. We even have new family members joining our online campus. Some of them are already serving in online ministries. This would not be possible without the faith and leadership of our entire church. It wouldn’t be possible without the faith in your giving. Thank you, you make my heart happy.
HOLY WEEK ONLINE EVENTS
Yesterday, Palm Sunday, marked the beginning of Holy Week. This is a week of somber reflection on the events preceding Jesus’ death: His triumphant entry into Jerusalem; His betrayal by Judas; His Last Supper with the twelve apostles; His arrest, crucifixion and death; and His burial in a tomb.
Here are some next steps to help you prepare your heart and mind for Easter:
Daily Holy Week Bible Study. Log on every day to get past Easter sermon notes for you to use as Bible studies. Here’s the link to Monday’s study.
Join the Prayer Call. Dial: (712) 775- 7035 | Access Code: 827217#.
If there was ever a week you should pray, Holy Week is it. So meet me in the morning, Monday-Friday, for prayer at 7am and on Wednesday also at 12pm and 6pm. Click here for more details.
Follow the Holy Week Prayer Guide. As part of our 30-day prayer focus, we are aligning our hearts with the biblical events for Holy Week. This is a great way for you to learn more about what happened during Jesus’ last week. Download the guide here.
Join us for our Facebook Watch Party. This Wednesday and Friday Night as we replay [enter name of sermons]. Invite all of your friends. Click here for our page.
Watch the Hope Today Devotional. Every day I’m posting a devotional that ties into our Holy Week prayer focus. They are short but powerful ways to find hope in the middle of your workday. Make sure you share it with your friends. Here’s the link to my page: Facebook
Join a Zoom Small Group. Thursday we will gather briefly for some online chat, prayer, and encouragement as we discuss today’s teaching: FAITH IN ACTION. This is an easy way to get to know your church family online. You can register here. Download this week’s discussion guide here.
FUN FOR YOUR FAMILY
While it’s important that we recalibrate spiritually we must also make sure we have fun at home. So by popular demand, our online campus pastor, Shawn Frazier, has posted his SAT Ribs Recipe for us to try at home.
If you make them, post a pic and us online using the hashtag #church4impact
RESOURCES FOR YOUR BUSINESS
We have also posted some great new resources on our site, I’ll just mention a few:
Get Your Free RightNow Media Account. We have partnered with the provider of the largest collection of Christian video content for kids. There are thousands of cartoons, Bible studies and educational materials you can use. The good news is all Impact family and friends can get a free account by clicking here.
Small Business Stimulus Resources. We have posted links to both state and federal funds available to small business owners. In addition, we are working on a stimulus plan for small businesses that are part of the Impact family. To be considered for support, you must complete this survey by Wednesday, April 8, 2020, at 8pm. We will also be releasing details on a new lending program available to our small businesses to help them survive these tight times.
MASKS FOR EVERYONE
Now that the CDC has revised its position on wearing masks in public we want to make sure that you have masks to wear when you are shopping or leaving the house for any reason. Our lead care pastors, Dan Knight and Gertha Graham are seeking seamstresses who can sew masks per the CDC guidelines.
We will supply the materials and have them shipped directly to your house along with safety instructions.
If you’d like to help us out please call Pastor Graham at (908) 222-9990 ext. 20
Our goal is to get masks to those who must still work outside the home first and then to the rest of the congregation’s needs. Thank you for helping us make this plan a reality.
FINAL THOUGHTS
Before I close this update, I want to again thank all of the brave healthcare, emergency and essential business workers who leave their houses every day to serve humanity.
You are truly Impact Heroes!
Each week we will continue to highlight your marketplace leadership. We love you!
Please know that you continue to be in Lady Terri and I’s prayers. We thank God for you allowing you to continue to connect with us through these unprecedented, faith-building times.
Please continue to stay safe, healthy, and connected.
We are still ONE CHURCH, now in MANY HOUSES!
Blessings,
Bishop De’Andre Salter

If you joined us for Impact Church Online you heard about this recipe and we know you’re waiting to try it out in your air fryer. Pastor Shawn Frazier knows ribs and has offered this recipe to make you feel good with a little food comfort. The best part is the recipe is as easy as 1-2-3. Enjoy and thank Pastor Shawn next time you join us online or post your picture to social media using the hashtag #church4impact.
