Bishop Salter Update - Keeping You Informed, Safe & Connected

Hi Family,

I know it is not just me, but these last few months have been frustrating, debilitating, refreshing, and empowering for us all. God has been speaking and making everything crystal clear. Let’s agree that we will not fight God; we will flow with Him. I know there is one glaring thing…I LOVE OUR CHURCH! We have grown numerically and, most importantly, in our faith. Thank you for your prayers, financial support, and online attendance.

Please keep sending in the emails and DM’s with your testimonies. Every social media post and message is life for me right now. You don’t know how much I have been encouraged by your stories.

We could not do this without the people behind the scenes serving in our online and offline ministries. I’m also grateful for the pastoral trainees who’ve stepped up to showed tremendous leadership. Kudos and stars for everyone!

Now for the updates:

·    DRIVE-THRU/ONLINE COMMUNION, July 5th @1pm (EST). Remember to attend the drive-in Communion celebration, you must register and have a ticket. Click here to do so before Friday, July 2nd at 5PM when registrations will end. Remember, this is our first event on campus, and we will learn a lot. We need your cooperation, patience, and strict adherence to these protocols to make it a successful day:

  • Arrive early! Parking spaces will open at 12:30PM (EST);

  • Volunteers will be in masks, gloves, and practicing social distancing;

  • A pastor will be distributing pre-sealed and sterilized communion kits for all those in each car, OR you can bring your own. If you choose to accept your communion elements from the pastor, they will have on a mask and use extended tongs to give you your sterilized kit.

  • Cars will be parked with 6 feet distance in between each other;

  • Every driver must be wearing a mask if receiving communion kits;

  • There will be no access to the building or restrooms;

  • All attendees will remain their cars, and turn their radios to 93.7FM to hear the service clearly;

  • There will be no congregating after the celebration.

The Communion celebration will also be streamed live online here: live.impactww.church

·  LOCKER ROOM BIBLE STUDY – ESSENTIAL MEN. I’m calling all men to join me for a unique Zoom Bible study at 8PM(EST) tomorrow. Every Friday In July, I’ve set aside this time to come alongside men and help them tap into their value as fathers, husbands, and men. You can register here.

Listen, I know some of you may feel like we should provide more opportunities for small gatherings, while others may feel it’s best to take it slow. Inevitably, there is no way to make everyone happy. I’m thankful for our COVID-19 task force's guidance, whose leadership and guidance have been invaluable. If you ever feel disappointed with my leadership decisions, do know my heart. I am doing my best to be your "good shepherd" who leads you in "safe" paths of righteousness.

We are Impact Church Worldwide. We are one church in many houses. We will not grow weary in well-doing, and we will come out of this together on top.

Bless you all,

Bishop Salter
