Bishop De’Andre Salter | Senior Pastor

God's man, husband, father, author, and influential world leader are just a few titles Bishop De'Andre Salter holds.

Born and raised in Newark, New Jersey, Bishop Salter learned early on that intentionality was necessary for every facet of his life. After graduating from Drew University in three short years, Bishop Salter climbed the corporate ladder quickly. As a young business leader, he had a stellar nine-year career as Senior Vice President with three different Fortune 100 insurance companies before founding Professional Risk Solutions-the largest black-owned commercial insurance brokerage in the world, in 2001.

In spite of his immense corporate success, Bishop Salter did not hesitate to answer God’s call to serve. He spent his young adulthood serving as minister of music and youth Sunday School leader before being ordained a deacon and eventually, an elder. His pastor, Pastor Emma Salter, under the direction of God, ordained him as her successor in 2006. Desiring only to please God, Bishop Salter was willing to lay down what he was accomplishing in the world to obey God’s assignment in the Kingdom. It just so happens that, that is not what God desired of him. God, choosing a peculiar path for Bishop Salter, graced him with the extraordinary task of doing both in excellence!- building a multi-million dollar corporation while simultaneously building a people for God. Bishop Salter embarked on what seemed to be an impossible mission with unwavering faith, knowing that all things are possible with God.

One of his first endeavors as pastor was helping people grow in faith, serve their communities and nurture and provide for their families by building values-based businesses. Bishop Salter received an official commendation from the Governor of New Jersey for creating an innovative faith-based social enterprise. The Impact Community Development Corporation planted fifty-five entrepreneurs in commercial cleaning franchises: small business owners who created employment opportunities for other families. Many acts of service would follow under his leadership. For, Impact Church has hosted toy drives for children who were forced to spend Christmas at St. Peter’s Hospital, provided Thanksgiving meals for those in need, donated money so the founder of an orphanage could get the life saving surgery he needed, donated pallets of water bottles to Newark when lead was discovered in its water supply, donated school supplies to Crest Haven School, donated diapers, formula and toys to Isaiah’s House in East Orange and Erick B Chandler Health Center in New Brunswick, donated toys to Ozanam Homeless Shelter, donated school supplies and backpacks to Village of Miracles in Plainfield, raised thousands to help restore the Bahamas after Hurricane Dorian caused great devastation, provided masks for those who were in need of protection in the height of the pandemic and established The Big Giveaway, the largest and most effective outreach program in New Jersey. The Big Giveaway blessed over 6000 families with over 2.5 million dollars in goods since its inception in 2021.

In Fall 2019, DeAndre Salter became a duly consecrated Bishop in the Joint College of African American Pentecostal Bishops and Macedonia International Bible Fellowship. As such, he oversees the administration of hundreds of churches around the globe. He's also the youngest bishop to be consecrated in New Jersey.

Bishop Salter also penned the best-selling book, The Culture of Money, with the intention of helping individuals and organizations break through their limitations and create lasting change. This best-seller aims to build a Black wealth movement through the adoption of three community-shared values: know more, own more, and pass down more. It has been credited with helping countless people get on the path of financial healing by becoming more financially astute and more intentional about leaving a financial legacy behind for those who come after them.

For 17 years, Bishop Salter has been a fearless visionary and has steadfastly led through many challenges as Senior Pastor of Impact Church Worldwide (ICWW).  Leadership shifts, physical relocation, and natural disasters have been no match for the kingdom work assigned to Bishop Salter. While renting, he saw ICWW owning the Main Campus in South Plainfield, NJ. Today, ICWW not only owns the property on which it sits, but also has tenants in the rear, and owns the warehouse where The Big GIVEAWAY serves the community each month. On top of it all, he audaciously ordained six new pastors, sons and daughters of the gospel, in the middle of a global pandemic.

With a relentless heart, his accomplishments in both ministry and business, position him to reveal biblical truth in a way that uniquely shifts the marketplace. Top leaders and officials have come to know the Lord Jesus Christ through the ministry of Bishop De'Andre Salter.

Married to his childhood sweetheart (his boo) Lady Terri Salter, their union is 28 years strong! Together they have four children: DeJahn, Destiny, Dorian, and Davin, who have an etched legacy in his heart. Bishop Salter ALWAYS finds humor in EVERY situation, speaks life in the darkest of rooms, never offends God with small, and challenges all who cross his path to know their WHY!
