Pentecost Week is a time for Christians to reflect on the power of the Holy Spirit in their lives and to renew their commitment to serving God and others. It is a time to rejoice in the love and grace of God and to be filled with the Spirit of God.
Pentecost Sunday is a memorable day for Christians all around the world. It commemorates the descent of the Holy Spirit upon the apostles and other followers of Jesus Christ. It is often referred to as the "birthday of the Church" because it marks the beginning of the Christian Church's mission to spread the message of Jesus Christ to the world.
During the week leading up to Pentecost Sunday, we will have a corporate fast designed to unify the body of ICWW. The Fast will be a 7-day fast leading up to Pentecost Sunday. If you have never been filled or have a desire for a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit, this is the fast for you. The purpose of this 7-day fast is to intentionally seek God's Spirit.
